How image-to-PSD conversion works

    Validate the source

    Read the real file format, dimensions, and digest for PNG, JPEG, or WebP input.

    Separate and organize

    Extract editable elements, rebuild the background, and name layers by their concrete role.

  3. 03

    Deliver the PSD

    Generate a downloadable PSD and explicitly label ordinary layer names when semantic naming is unavailable.

PRODUCT BOUNDARY

Not lossless recovery of the original design file

The editable structure is reconstructed from the final composite. It cannot guarantee recovery of invisible source content, original vector paths, or font licenses that are absent from the pixels. Review the real layers in Photopea or Photoshop.
